FHPA Trooper Moore
FHPA Trooper Rueben Moore

On January 5, FHPA Trooper Rueben Moore was performing Limited Scope Patrol in Manatee County. He stopped for fuel just west of Interstate 75 and while fueling his patrol car, Tpr. Moore noticed a man nearby who was holding his chest. Tpr. Moore approached the individual to provide assistance and requested an ambulance. Manatee County EMS arrived on the scene and took over care of the patient, transporting him to Manatee Memorial Emergency Room. The patient was subsequently admitted to the hospital where a heart catheterization was performed. The Manatee Emergency Communications Center informed Fort Myers Comm. Center that Tpr. Moore’s actions more than likely saved the life of the patient.
