NAPLES -- Collier County Tax Collector Guy Carlton is expanding his driver license services beginning November 1. He will assume responsibility for the office currently operated by the State’s Division of Driver Licenses at 4532 E. Tamiami Trail, Suite 100.
"This change is part of an ongoing partnership between our agency and Florida’s county tax collectors," explained Fred O. Dickinson, Executive Director of the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.
The office will continue to offer a full range of services, including all driver license testing, renewals, identification cards, and license reinstatements. Office hours will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Beginning December 1, Mr. Carlton’s office will offer original Florida licenses to applicants with a valid out-of-state license, renewals of Florida licenses, and Florida ID cards at 1040 Winterberry Drive on Marco Island and 4715 Golden Gate Parkway in Golden Gate.
