FLHSMV Releases New Design of the Miami Dolphins Specialty License Plate
~The newly redesigned Miami Dolphins specialty license plate is now available statewide ~
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) is pleased to announce the newly redesigned Miami Dolphins specialty license plate is now available in all tax collector and tag agency offices across the state. As of October 1, 2019, there were 16,004 valid registrations of the Miami Dolphins specialty license plate.
Floridians interested in purchasing the new Miami Dolphins plate are encouraged to visit their local tax collector or tag agency office. A list of locations can be found online at flhsmv.gov/locations. There will be a $25 specialty plate fee in addition to the other registration fees. A percentage of the revenue from the sale of this plate is allocated to the Florida Professional Sports Development Trust Fund.
The Miami Dolphins specialty license plate was enacted by the Florida Legislature in 1995. This is the third redesign of the plate. A complete list of Florida’s specialty license plates can be found on the department website.
