American Motorcyclist Association (AMA)

The mission of the American Motorcyclist Association is to protect and promote the interests of motorcyclists while serving the needs of its members.

Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF)

The Motorcycle Safety Foundation® is the internationally recognized developer of the comprehensive, research-based, Rider Education and Training System (MSF RETS). RETS curricula promotes lifelong-learning for motorcyclists and continuous professional development for certified RiderCoaches and other trainers.

NHTSA Motorcycle Safety Information

Through education, enforcement, outreach, and legislation, NHTSA’s motorcycle safety initiatives focus on comprehensive programs that prevent crashes, prevent injury when a crash occurs, and reduce the seriousness of injury after a crash. NHTSA’s initiatives foster promoting motorcycle rider education and licensing; reducing the number of impaired motorcyclists; increasing motorist awareness of motorcycles; and increasing helmet use.

Snell Memorial Foundation (Safety Helmet Information)

The Snell Memorial Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that, for over fifty years has been dedicated to research, education, testing and development of helmet safety standards. Since its founding in 1957, Snell has been a leader in helmet safety in the United States and around the world.

State Motorcycle Safety Association (SMSA)

The National Association of State Motorcycle Safety Administrators is dedicated to serving the needs and interests of state motorcycle safety administrators and programs by advocating motorcycle safety and fostering and promoting the exchange of ideas and resources.

Ride Proud Dress Loud

The Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) and Florida Rider Training Program (FRTP) statewide “Motorcycle Conspicuity Campaign.” This statewide initiative will focus on promoting motorcycle visibility and safety in an effort to reduce fatalities on Florida’s roadways.
