2016 Civilian of the Quarter
January through March | Mr. David Richter
Congratulations to Mr. David Richter for being selected as the Florida Highway Patrol Civilian Employee of the Quarter from January through March 20 I 6.
It has been noted that Richter is an employee who continuously goes above and beyond to ensure that Troop B shines. This quarter, Richter diligently worked long hours on building renovations for both the Lake City Troop Headqua11ers and the Cross City Station. Also, Richter have taken on the year-end budget funded items for Troop B, by researching and developing strategies to make Troop B the best it can be.
Richter continuously goes above and beyond his job duties and make Troop B run efficiently. Richter’s actions help better the Florida Highway Patrol.
April through June | Ms. Athleen Barr
Congratulations to Ms. Athleen Barr for being selected as the Florida Highway Patrol Civilian Employee of the Quarter from April through June 2016.
It has been noted that Barr is an employee who continuously goes above and beyond to make sure that Troop L shines. Barr ensures that all monthly reports are completed and that the troop is in compliance with all the reporting requirements. Barr has identified issues with Hireback funding and made sure the appropriate people were aware of the issues before it became a problem. This quarter, Barr assisted in vetting over ten thousand pounds of documents and records during the recent destruction of documents at troop headquarters in accordance with Department policy and State statutes.
Barr continuously goes above and beyond her job duties and makes Troop L run efficiently. Barr’s actions help better the Florida Highway Patrol.
July through September | Ms. Angela Boyd
Congratulations to Ms. Angela Boyd for being selected as the Florida Highway Patrol Civilian Employee of the Quarter from July through September 2016.
It has been noted that Boyd is dependable, trustworthy and loyal. On numerous occasions, Boyd has demonstrated she is willing to go the extra mile, if needed, to get the job done. Boyd projects a high degree of professionalism when dealing with customers on the phone or in person and she always has a positive, friendly relaxed attitude. Boyd is always willing to help others whether it be computer-related issues or the project with getting Troop J office record destruction requests completed. Since joining Troop J, Boyd has learned the office procedures very well and she is an excellent team player. Boyd effectively interacts with co-workers and cooperates with others for the benefit of the organization, which has allowed her to gain their trust and respect.
Boyd continuously goes above and beyond her job duties and make Troop I run efficiently. Boyd’s actions help better the Florida Highway Patrol.
October through December | Ms. Linda Wood
Congratulations to Ms. Linda Wood for being selected as the Florida Highway Patrol Civilian Employee of the Quarter from October through December 2016.
Wood has been a crucial asset with the daily operations of the Deland/Cocoa District Offices. Wood is an employee who continuously goes above and beyond to ensure that Troop D shines. Wood is always willing to help others in the office and take on extra duties, including filling in while the office is down two clerks, to make sure the job gets done.
Wood continuously goes above and beyond her job duties and make both Districts run more efficiently. Wood’s actions help better the Florida Highway Patrol.
