Media Ride Along

Members of the media wishing to participate in a ride along with the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) must complete the form below and provide any requested documentation at least 10 days in advance of requested ride along day. Completing the form and submitting additional documentation is not a guarantee the ride along has been granted.

•  All ride along’ s must follow the same process and submit applications to Media Communications for processing. Submissions that are incomplete or missing documentation will not be considered.
• Approval is subject to availability of FHP personnel and the approval of Executive Director Dave Kerner and FHP Colonel Gary Howze II.
• Submission for a ride along requires a new completed form and documentation each time a ride along is requested.
